APG has been appointed as the General Sales Agent (GSA) in Kuwait and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) by Xiamen Airlines. The China carrier is based at Gaoqi International Airport. A long-standing partner of APG, Xiamen Airlines is represented by APG in several markets, including Qatar. Xiamen Airlines has recently stated it will launch flights between Beijing Daxing and Doha on 20 October and Xiamen-Doha on 31 October. The consecutive opening of two direct flights to the Middle East coincides with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Qatar. Xiamen Airlines is the first Chinese carrier to operate nonstop flights from China to Qatar.
