Virgin Australia and Qatar Airways signed an MoU to collaborate on sustainability initiatives with a focus on the usage of SAF and LCAF, sustainable procurement, energy management, and sustainability-driven customer solutions. “The MoU strengthens the partnership between the two airlines and cements their commitment towards achieving mutual objectives in sustainability. Driving progress in environmental sustainability is something that is at core of Qatar Airways’ culture. We are at the forefront of the aviation sector’s efforts in various areas, evident through our work in climate change and waste management, as well as the successful introduction of an integrated environmental management system. We look forward to working with Virgin Australia to share our experiences and continue to build upon our strong leadership in these areas,” Fathi Atti, Qatar Airways Group Senior VP of Aeropolitical & Corporate Affairs, said.
