Atlantic’s new Riyadh-London route, operated with the advanced A330neo, offering 30 tonnes of cargo per flight, disclosed Juha Jarvinen, Chief Commercial Officer, Virgin Atlantic. This service enhances trade links by facilitating the transport of fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, and specialised goods between Riyadh, the UK, and the USA via the Virgin Atlantic and Delta networks. The route strengthens cargo connectivity amid growing demand for Middle East-to-North America shipments. Jarvinen said the importance of the new routes will strengthen global connections for families, businesses, and travellers. Explaining the airline’s expanded partnership with Saudia, Jarvinen expressed excitement about bringing Virgin Atlantic’s brand and service to new markets in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ghana, and Canada.
