UAE & Dubai to increase size of goods movements: Al Rais



Mohammed Jassim Al Rais, Executive Director, Al Rais Cargo, who entered the Gallery of Legends at Arabian Cargo Awards 2024, while addressing the awards ceremony, emphasised Dubai Economic Agenda D33 to grow in trade and transportation in the UAE by 2033. The plan aims to add 400 new cities to Dubai’s network, broadening connectivity and facilitating smoother movement of goods and people. The UAE will boost its foreign trade volume to 25 trillion dirhams, effectively double or triple its current trade capabilities.  “With the agenda of Dubai 2033, they would like to add 400 more cities to their network and to increase the foreign trade to 25 trillion dirhams. The UAE and Dubai is going to double and triple the size of the goods movements,” he said. The “Dubai Economic Agenda D33” initiative is set to reshape the future of trade in the region, promising new opportunities and a more connected global network for all involved.
