UAE Cabinet outlines 2025 goals in logistics & trade



His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, chairing the UAE Cabinet’s first meeting of this year in Abu Dhabi, sketched out logistics and trade had played a pivotal role in 2024, with foreign trade surpassing AED 2.8 trillion and industrial exports exceeding AED 190 billion, and airports welcoming 150 million passengers. Looking ahead, over AED 70 billion was allocated for nearly transformative projects, 140 global pacts signed across vital sectors, while international collaborations in logistics, advanced technology, and clean energy remain central to the UAE’s strategy. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, “The UAE launched 750 national projects and initiatives to advance development, attract top talent, and secure investment. The Cabinet and the Ministerial Development Council issued 1,300 decisions to establish the best regulatory environment for accelerating growth over the next two decades.”
