Turkish Cargo will begin offering cargo capacity on flights between Liège, Belgium, and Miami, Florida, beginning November through a partnership with Avianca Cargo. This collaboration stems from a pact signed in April 2023, aimed at enhancing air cargo linkage by leveraging both airlines’ networks and resources. Avianca Cargo operates five Airbus A330-200Fs, while Turkish Cargo has 12 of the same model within its fleet of 24 freighters. Turkish Cargo utilises its passenger flights’ belly-hold capacity. Turkish Airlines ordered four new Boeing 777 freighters in June 2023, expanding its cargo capabilities.
