Transport General Authority (TGA) has launched the second phase of the initiative to localise and empower freight activities and logistics services of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The launch is in cooperation with Saudi Logistics Academy and relevant authorities in the government as well as private sectors. Under the initiative, TGA stated the applicants will be imparted training under five SLA’s qualifying programmes. This is in addition to developing the skills of the Saudi professionals for the role and function of the freight forwarder, as well as providing a certificate that represents a valuable measure of the private sector’s efficiency.
