Swissport Geneva to manage Gulf Air’s cargo operations

Swissport has secured Gulf Air as a new client at Geneva-Cointrin Airport. Gulf Air has signed a 3-year contract with Swissport Geneva for ground handling and cargo operations for its flights between Manama, Bahrain, and Milan Malpensa, Italy. Swissport will support Gulf Air’s two weekly flights during the summer season. Nicholas Joyce, Commercial Manager, Swissport Geneva, stated, “In a very competitive market, these renewals underline the strong partnership between Swissport Geneva and the airlines, and above all, the recognition of the quality offered by our teams.” In 2023, Swissport Geneva handled 26,874 tons of freight in its air cargo unit.
