SolitAir launches daily Dubai-Riyadh cargo flights

SolitAir has announced the inauguration of its first daily cargo flights between Dubai and Riyadh, which took off on 4 December 2024, Hamdi, Osman, Founder and CEO, SolitAir, said. The flights address the rising demand for logistics solutions between the two regional hubs, which collectively handle 1.2 million tonnes of air freight annually.

“We appeal to businesses seeking secure and efficient logistics solutions to drive their success in today’s global marketplace, especially as the Global South starts playing a leading role in the world economy. Right at the heart of this fast-emerging region accounting for over half of the global GDP, DWC is set to become the world’s largest airport with an annual cargo capacity of 12 million tonnes, 20 times more than it can currently handle,” he added.
