Qatar Airways Cargo (QR Cargo) and Japan Airlines have signed an MoU to strengthen their partnership and enhance cargo offerings, Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo, QR Cargo, said. This expansion follows the launch of daily passenger flights between Tokyo Haneda and Doha earlier this year, solidifying their collaboration as oneworld partners. The pact will integrate the carriers’ networks via Doha and Tokyo hubs, improving linkage across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Japan. “The MoU symbolises a partnership aiming to integrate both networks via Doha and Tokyo hubs. This will also enhance network connectivity and product offerings, linking Japan to QR Cargo’s network in Europe, the Middle East, the Levant, and Africa, and vice versa,” he added.
