Oxagon emerges as logistics hub aligned with Saudi Vision 2030

NEOM’s Oxagon is establishing its status as a pivotal logistics and manufacturing hub, in line with Saudi Arabia Vision 2030. Covering 50 sq. km, Oxagon is among the largest floating industrial complexes globally, integrating innovation and sustainability, Federico Pienovi, Chief Business Officer and CEO, APAC & MENA, Globant, said. The hub is set to operate on renewable energy by 2030, positioning itself as a global model for future industrial development, while advancing logistics excellence. “Oxagon has placed advanced technologies such as AI, IoT, edge computing, and automation at the core of its operations. By integrating predictive AI models, Oxagon has optimised its supply chain management, enabling it to forecast demand and identify the most efficient logistics routes. At the same time, IoT sensors and robust platforms have elevated operational efficiency, improved product quality, and enhanced risk mitigation efforts. These technologies have not only transformed manufacturing and logistics but have also paved the way for connected experiences, where personalised insights enhance decision-making across operations,” he added.
