Broadway Malyan has announced it has been commissioned to develop The Ibri Structure Plan, part of a series of urban development strategies initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, for the city of Ibri. The Ibri Structure Plan will incorporate investment initiatives leveraging the city’s proximity to Oman’s border with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). They include plans for a dry port, warehousing and logistics infrastructure, manufacturing clusters and all facets of the urban development space as well. Among those present in the team include F&M Middle East Engineering Consultancy; Cundall, Pegasys Consulting, Policy Analytics Lab, Systematica, Oman Think Urban, Chronicle Heritage, Green Mawared, and DG Jones and Partners, among others.
