Oman Air will launch direct Boeing 787-9 flights from Muscat to Amsterdam four times a week, offering 14 to 18 tonnes of capacity either way, Pieter van Oord, CEO, Royal Schiphol Group, said. The airline will boost cargo capacity to London Heathrow with double-day B787-9 flights starting October. They will initially operate four days a week and ramp up the service by summer 2026. “We are happy to welcome Oman Air to Amsterdam and have a direct connection between Amsterdam and Muscat. This direct link marks a milestone in strengthening ties between our two countries,” he added.
