Mawani inks SR300 mn deal for Dammam logistics park

Mawani has signed an agreement with Alissa Universal Motors to develop a SR300 million logistics park at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, a press release stated. Covering 382,000 sq. mtrs., the facility will include a 7,000 sq. mtrs., warehouse for spare parts and a logistics area capable of handling over 13,000 vehicles and trucks. The park will focus on the import and re-export of vehicles and spare parts, enhancing the port’s competitive edge and regional status as a logistics hub. This initiative supports Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transport and Logistics Strategy by boosting private sector involvement, offering specialised logistics services, and promoting economic diversification, the release added.
