Mawani, GACA, ZATCA tie-up to boost air-sea connectivity

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani), General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), and Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) have inked an MoU to enhance air-sea logistics connectivity to ensure a seamless flow of goods across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The pact was signed at the GACA HQ in Riyadh by Awad AlSulami, EVP, Economic Policies and Logistics Services, Eng. Abdullah Al-Funtukh, ZATCA’s Vice Governor, Trade Facilitation and Customer Experience Sector, and Abdullah AlMunif, VP, Commercial Business, Mawani. The tri-party deal aims to upgrade the KSA’s logistics and customs services by integrating freight operations at air and sea terminals.
