Legal issues delay services by dnata’s Airport Handling at Rome

Though Airport Handling (AH) has secured a seven-year license to provide ground handling services at Rome Fiumicino Airport, the start of operations is delayed due to legal issues from the outgoing handler. “We are eager to bring these standards to Fiumicino, despite the legal delays impacting passengers and airlines” Alberto Morosi, CEO, commented. The company has committed over €20 million to GSE, including hiring local employees. Airport Handling remains optimistic about the court’s decision and is confident in the airport authority’s actions.  As a leading air services provider in Italy, Airport Handling partners with 60 airlines, manages managing 22 million passengers and 82,000 flights annually at Milan’s Malpensa and Linate airports.
