Kuwait-based BIG Holding awards logistics contract to KRH



Beyout Investment Group (BIG) Holding, based  in Kuwait, awarded a US$450 million partnership contract to logistics support services provider, Kuwait Resources House (KRH), according to a fund disclosure group based in the country. KRH holds a 99.56% stake in the company and provide logistics support for 3.5 years in cooperation with an American company. BIG, which provides HR and real estate services, listed a 30 per cent stake on Boursa Kuwait in June and was the bourse’s first listing in two years, following the listing of Ali Al Ghanim. Global freight forwarding has dominated the forwarding industry in Kuwait owing to the free trade agreements of GCC with European Free Trade Association and Trade and Agreement Framework Agreement with the USA. Kuwait has signed bilateral investment pacts with Austria, Belarus, China, Croatia, Belgium, Bosnia, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, and India.
