
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s parcel deliveries hit a record high with 16.5 million shipments during the first 20 days of Ramadan, highlighting the growth of the logistics sector and last-mile delivery, as per a latest press release by Transport General Authority (TGA). The surge reflects the growing dominance of e-commerce and increased reliance on online shopping. The press release by TGA stated, “The success to stricter standards, including on-time delivery to agreed locations, data confidentiality, and faster resolution of customer complaints. Inspections will continue to ensure service quality during high-demand periods.”
