The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strengthens ties with the UK to increase global connectivity, focusing on cargo and logistics, Eng. Mohammed Alkhuraisi, Executive VP, Strategy and Business Intelligence, General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), said. It is part of KSA’s National Aviation Strategy, which targets an increase in air cargo capacity to 4.5 million tonnes annually and links to 250 destinations worldwide. “KSA and the UK maintain relations in the civil aviation sector, with the UK serving as the KSA’s primary European market. Last December, the two countries agreed to increase bilateral trade volume to US$ 37.5 billion by 2030, underscoring the significance of commercial relations and their mutual benefits for both economies.
