Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is revving up for a future focused on renewables, innovative transport, and logistics, led by its Vision 2030 strategy. Ceer, KSA’s first electric vehicle (EV) brand, supports this plan. James De Luca, CEO said the company, a JV between PIF and Foxconn, has plans to set up a manufacturing hub in the Kingdom. “Ceer will support KSA’s target to reach net zero emissions by 2060. EVs will play a key role in decarbonizing the transportation sector.” PIF brings a level of expertise in such as governance, and they bring common processes and systems to enable us to move forward faster than we would be able to otherwise, he added.
