KSA aims to become a central hub for international flights



At the ICAN 2024 conference in Malaysia, Ali bin Mohammed Rajab, GACA’s Executive VP for Air Transport and International Cooperation, emphasized Saudi Arabia’s progress toward becoming a central hub for international flights. Ali bin Mohammed Rajab, said, “The Kingdom’s aviation journey has been nothing short of transformative. The hosting of ICAN last year in Riyadh demonstrates the unprecedented opportunities for investment in Saudi aviation, bringing the Kingdom a step closer to achieving the ambitions set out by Vision 2030.” The National Aviation Strategy also targets a cargo capacity increase from 0.8 million tons to 4.5 million tons by 2030.
