The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia strengthened cargo and logistics ties with China to collaborate on the Air Silk Road cargo centre project. GACA recently hosted a KSA-Chinese roundtable to discuss collaboration in logistics zones and air cargo. The event featured Zhang Mingchao, Chairman, China Henan Aviation Group, alongside His Excellency Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President, General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). The meeting aimed to increase investments to cross-border logistics solutions thereby benefiting Chinese expertise in air cargo services. The Chinese delegation visited the Special Integrated Logistics Zone in Riyadh and cargo areas at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, reviewing cargo handling operations, e-commerce shipment processes, and the digital systems in place.
