K+N to build e-commerce fulfilment centre in Dubai

Kuehne+Nagel has initiated the construction of a fulfilment and distribution centre in EZDubai, an e-commerce zone in Dubai South, near Al Maktoum International Airport and linked to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor. The new facility will serve as a regional hub, offering seamless logistics solutions with customs clearance exemptions within the bonded logistics corridor. “With this development, Kuehne+Nagel shows commitment to the UAE and Dubai. The new facility brings our customers EoDB in Dubai and across the region,” Lee I’Ons, GCC+ Cluster MD, Kuehne+Nagel, said. “We are pleased to witness the groundbreaking of our new facility. We are committed to supporting the company’s expansion and growth, contributing to Dubai’s position as a global logistics hub,” Mohsen Ahmad, CEO, Logistics District, Dubai South, averred.  Designed under LEED Silver requirements, the new centre will offer 23,000 sq. mtrs. of warehousing space and equating to 45,000 pallet positions. It is set to be fully operational in the second quarter of 2025.
