Innovations at ATA Conference in transporting live animals

The ATA Conference 2025, held in Doha, gathered 146 industry experts to discuss advancements in live animal transportation, said Mark Drusch, Chief Officer Cargo, Qatar Airways Cargo. The conference addressed industry challenges, including animal motion sickness, transport risks and complexities, AVI handling, avoiding paperwork errors and compliance of transport solutions. “The safe transport of live animals requires expertise, collaboration, continuous innovation, and respect for animals. At Qatar Airways Cargo, we are committed to setting the highest standards and supporting industry-wide improvements.” Participants also had the opportunity to visit Qatar Airways Cargo’s Animal Centre.
