Honeywell opens first building automation assembly line in KSA

Honeywell has inaugurated its first assembly line for Fire Alarm and Building Management solutions in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Phil Daniell, VP and GM, Business Automation, Middle East, Türkiye, and Africa. This facility marks an expansion of Honeywell’s automation capabilities in both Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, underscoring its seven-decade commitment to the Kingdom. The Dhahran facility will produce KSA -made products that adhere to the local and global standards. This initiative aligns with Honeywell’s strategy to increase localisation in KSA, focusing on global trends such as energy transition, automation, and the future of aviation. “Around the world, and especially within this region, we are seeing clear alignment between national visions and goals and the need for safer, efficient, smart, and sustainable infrastructure,” Daniel said. “Urban populations are increasing, and through automation technologies, we can help cater to this expanded need while tackling carbon emissions and driving efficiency through smarter and safer technology.”
