Global Aerospace Summit 2024 from 25 September in Abu Dhabi



The 7th edition of the Global Aerospace Summit will be held from 25 to 26 September 2024 at the St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi. The meeting of the world’s aerospace supply chain will emphasise on expansion of the space sector. The event will feature leading space agencies, industry innovators and thought leaders from across the globe. The representatives from top space organisations will be part of the summit including the likes of Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC), National Space Science Agency, Mexican Space Agency, French Space Agency, Portuguese Space Agency, Gabon Space Agency and the Communications, Space & Technology Commission. Middle East is gradually becoming a significant player in the aerospace sector, with its economy likely to reach US$75 billion by 2032. On the other hand, the global space economy is projected to reach US$1.8 trillion by 2035, up from $630 billion in 2023, driven by advancements in space-enabled technologies, increased accessibility and commercial innovation. “As the global space sector continues to evolve, collaboration across borders and disciplines have become crucial. The UAE has been proactive in fostering partnerships with leading entities and academic institutions and through these alliances, we are leveraging collective expertise to address the complex challenges of space exploration,” His Excellency Salem Humaid AlMarri, Director-General, MBRSC, said.
