FedEx Import Tool launched to make services more efficient

FedEx launched the FedEx Import Tool, a digital solution that uses technology to handle the challenges of global trade with a single-window solution to make the overall end-to-end customer experience easier. The tool’s features include a unified self-service platform to centralise document management and shipping tracking, dashboard for visibility into every step of import shipments with notifications to fasten the process and 24x7 monitoring to track the shipments after pickup.  “The new tool has been introduced underscoring the value we bring to our customers. This advancement makes supply chain planning easier and streamlines shipping processes,” Kawal Preet, president of Asia Pacific, FedEx, said. The result would be that clients and customers get time to focus on growing their business by optimizing other crucial aspects of their operations. FedEx is on a mission to create digital solutions to make shipments smarter in the ever-changing cargo and supply chain marketplace, he added.
