Etihad Cargo has operated 329 cargo flights from Ezhou Huahu International Airport to Zayed International Airport, moving 18,700 tonnes of export cargo since August 2023, Stanislaus Brun, Vice President Cargo, Etihad Cargo, said. In partnership with SF Airlines, the carrier runs seven weekly flights, bolstered by Ezhou’s IATA CEIV Pharma certification, supporting specialised cargo. “As the first carrier to operate from Ezhou, Etihad Cargo played a vital role in demonstrating its importance within one year of operations. Etihad Cargo’s customers were pleased with the reliability and efficiency of the service, validating the carrier’s decision to partner with Ezhou and recognise its potential as a global cargo hub. Etihad Cargo’s operations in Ezhou are a key component of our extensive network in Greater China, which will grow to 23 weekly freighters and 25 weekly passenger flights in 2025,” he added.
