Etihad Cargo and SF Airlines will introduce freighters between Shenzhen and Abu Dhabi thus enhancing Chinese network and providing market access. Starting July 15, Etihad Cargo will operate two freighters every week between Abu Dhabi and Ezhou, while SF Airlines will add another freighter from Ezhou. This service will offer 200 tonnes of capacity, raising the total to 630 tonnes weekly. Also, the two airlines will also increase passenger flights between Abu Dhabi and Ezhou hubs. The new weekly service between Shenzhen and Abu Dhabi marks the fifth gateway destination in China for Etihad Cargo. “This year marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and the UAE. By expanding our partnership with SF Airlines, we enhance access to strategic markets in China, the UAE, and globally,” Stanislaus Brun, VP, Etihad Cargo, emphasised. “Our partnership with Etihad Cargo now expands to six flights weekly, offering more convenient and diverse global transportation options,” Robert Zhang, Commercial Director of SF Airlines, added.
