Five B777 Etihad Cargo freighters transport FreshForward commodities weighing 530 tonnes weekly to Netherlands. The Netherlands, a market leader for cut flowers, accounts for 50 per cent of Etihad Cargo’s FreshForward tonnage, which transports a wide variety of fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables via Amsterdam. Apart from flowers, the paprika, lettuce and apples are transported from Holland and tomatoes and oranges from Spain. Operating five freighters per week, we ferry FreshForward commodities across our global network. The Netherlands is one of the leading origin countries for pharma and ranks fourth in the cargo airline’s network for PharmaLife shipments.
