DP World joins Einride and introduced an electric freight solution in Jebel Ali to decarbonise terminal operations, said Robert Falck, CEO and Founder, Einride. “The UAE is uniquely positioned to lead this sustainable transition given its forward-thinking approach to innovation, and we are proud to drive this in partnership with DP World,” he added. Operating 24x7, the electric fleet aims to move 204,000 containers annually, significantly cutting emissions. This initiative will help reduce 14,600 tonnes of CO2e per year and supports DP World’s sustainability goals to electrify inter-terminal vehicles and enhance greener logistics
