Emirates, Moro Hub join for solar powered data centre

Emirates has partnered with Moro Hub to relocate its data center to the world’s largest solar-powered facility at the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park. By moving to Moro Hub, the Group will utilise 3,000 megawatts of clean energy annually, reducing its carbon footprint while benefiting from comprehensive co-location services. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, MD & CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), said, “Guided by the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, we continue to position Dubai as a global leader in sustainable digital innovation, fully aligned with the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050.
