Emirates will expand its cargo network in Asia, which handles 2,000 tonnes of freight from China weekly, by launching daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen, starting 1 July 2025, informed Adnan Kazim, Deputy President, and Chief Commercial Officer, Emirates. The airline will introduce four weekly flights to Da Nang from June 2 and tri-weekly flights to Siem Reap from June 3, both connecting via Bangkok. Shenzhen’s status as a tech manufacturing hub will boost shipments of electronics, with Emirates expected to carry 10 tonnes of cargo per flight, supporting exports such as high-tech devices and e-commerce goods, Kazim added.
