Dubai International Airport (DXB) achieved 20.5 per cent increase, handling 2.2 million tonnes of cargo, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, said. The airport also recorded 440,300 flight movements, a 5.7 per cent year-on-year growth, with a load factor of 78.1 per cent. These achievements reflect DXB’s unmatched connectivity, serving 272 destinations across 107 countries with 106 international airlines. “Our sustained investment in enhancing the airport’s capabilities contributes to our ability to achieve ambitious goals such as the Dubai Economic Agenda D33’s targets of becoming one of the world’s top five logistics hubs and doubling foreign trade by expanding connections to 400 new cities globally,” His Highness said.
