Niels Boelens, Sales Manager, United Cargo, shared the Dubai-US route is one of the most important and busy ones as it connects cargo from across the world and is need for more capacity. “United Cargo started flying one-and-a half years ago between Dubai and the USA and ever since this route has been the busiest for cargo and passengers. “Since I am from the cargo side of the business, I could say that there has been a flow of local produce heading to the USA from here apart from the transit cargo. United Cargo is the biggest carrier in the USA. A big part of our cargo comes from Bangladesh, Hong Kong and India among others from the Far East through Dubai. We all know what happened in the Red Sea in the past months, which helped the air cargo industry. The market is strong now, but I think the capacity is limited. So, we see that there is a requirement for increased capacity,” Boelens added.
