Dubai Customs and Aramex have signed an agreement to advance the ‘Seamless Inspections’ initiative, a unique effort to accelerate customs inspection processes. Under this initiative, businesses will be permitted to have their shipments inspected at their own warehouses, instead of customs centres thereby reducing logistics costs and expediting customs clearance. This partnership aims to enhance operational efficiency and flexibility, benefiting businesses by streamlining the customs process. Mansoor Al Malik of Dubai Customs and Tarek Abu Yaghi of Aramex signed the agreement during GITEX Global, held recently. They expressed this initiative aims to streamline foreign trade, improve business operation and positive impact the operations, contributing to Dubai economy and global commerce.
