DSV has the won the race against CVC to buy DB Schenker as their €14 billion bid has been accepted, according to reports. The preliminary contract for the amount, would be signed in a few days’ time. The deal must be approved Deutsche Bahn’s supervisory board, comprising of government, parliamentary and union representatives. However, spokesperson from both DSV and Schenker chose to remain silent on the successful completion of the acquisition.
