DHL inaugurates new logistics facility at Muscat airport

DHL Express has inaugurated a new logistics facility at Muscat International Airport in Oman, featuring advanced facility to streamline logistics and cargo distribution services for 4,200 customers in the region, Abdulaziz Busbate, CEO, DHL Express MENA, said. The €30 million (US$ 30.81 million) investment spans 12,621 sq. m., with 8,074 sq. m., of built-up space. The facility includes a ground operations hub, an import and export gateway, and a regional office capable of processing 2,400 shipments per hour. “This facility is the latest addition to DHL’s growing infrastructure and a strategic investment in the future of logistics in the Sultanate of Oman,” he added.
