DHL Global Forwarding announced a partnership with FAMCO to introduce Volvo Electric FM Truck in the Middle East for sustainable logistics solutions. Tobias Maier, CEO, Saloodo! MEA, said this marks DHL’s deployment of the first Volvo truck in its UAE fleet, after having already deployed 50 trucks in its European fleet. The signing ceremony took place at the DHL MEA Innovation Center on August 24. The pact underscores DHL Group and FAMCO’s stance in shaping the industry’s future through innovation and sustainable solutions. “Our partnership with FAMCO is testament to our commitment to revolutionize the logistics industry through sustainability and innovation. As we progress towards our goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, DHL remains steadfast in delivering smart, sustainable solutions to our customers,” he said.
