Dubai Free Zones Council (DFZC), chaired by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO and Founder, the Emirates Group, emphasised the role of Dubai’s free zones in advancing logistics and infrastructure to support economic diversification. Reflecting the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Dubai’s free zones have integrated technologies such as AI and big data analytics to streamline operations and enhance monitoring of economic indicators. The council discussed simplifying regulations to attract foreign investment, advancing infrastructure through collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority, and ensuring traffic safety within free zones. These initiatives aim to advance Dubai’s competitive edge, facilitating business operations, and sustain growth into 2025.
