The third Global Trade and Supply Summit was held recently in Dubai, UAE. CargoTalk was the media partner of the event. Logistics professionals at the event discussed how to transform trade and fuel growth for the Middle East region. Key figures from the UAE’s Ministry of Economy, those from the UK, Brazil, China, and a host of others collectively discussed issues of logistics and globalization. Giving a ring side view of the proceedings, some of the discussions included supply chain diversification from China, handling sustainability, product traceability, managing data in digital trade, supply chain resilience and trade in emerging regions, among others.
