Cargo carrier SolitAir secures UAE Air Operator Certificate

SolitAir has received its Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority, confirmed Hamdi Osman, founder and CEO, SolitAir. The carrier has also expanded its fleet to three Boeing 737-800 Converted Freighters (BCFs), with the two currently operated by ASL Airlines Ireland and the third awaiting deployment in Sofia. “We have obtained our AOC in the UAE. We will be connecting 50 cities from DWC. We will be connecting the global south. Global south to Latin America, Africa, Middle East, Indian subcontinent and China,” he added.
