Nissrine Elqobai, CEO of ENY Consulting, highlighted that carbon impact assessments will be widely implemented across distribution centers and warehouses by 2025. In a recent interview with CargoTalk ME, She stated, “Big companies are already including sustainability in their supplier selection process, asking if the product, packaging, and transportation are sustainable, and measuring the carbon impact. Small companies, small and medium companies, not fully yet. And you know in the region we have a lot of medium and local companies. So, that’s not yet fully, but the government is making efforts. We have to educate the market and move forward and implement these gradual changes.  Just beginning of the year, officially now the government is encouraging all companies to track their carbon print. So, by next year, you will see carbon impact assessments everywhere—from distribution centers to warehouses.”
