BAC plans ambitious national strategy for air cargo

Bahrain Airport Company CEO Mohammed Yousif Albinfalah, said, “Cargo is a strategic part of our development of the airport with an increase in cargo tonnage passing through the airport of around 9 per cent year-on-year. Development of the Phase I of the site’s ‘express cargo village’ has already sold out, with the airport the process of launching the tender for the second phase; set to be around three times the size and complementing an ambitious national strategy that was launched a few years ago.”
