Dubai Airports has revolutionised its cargo operations with an AI-powered demand planning and forecasting initiative. This tool has enhanced operational efficiency and streamlined inventory management. “By leveraging AI and real-time data, we streamlined inventory management, improved efficiency, and enhanced service quality. This underscores our commitment to innovation and operational excellence,” Emmanuel Augustin, VP, Supply Management, Dubai Airports, said. Enhanced forecasting has increased service levels by 24 per cent, enabling faster facility maintenance and reducing ageing work orders by 82 per cent. Automating the inventory ordering process has boosted efficiency by 400 per cent, reducing manual workloads.
