Aramex has improved its operations following the implementation of Dubai’s Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation’s (PCFC) Seamless Inspections programme, said Khaled Ziad Al-Kilani, Senior Director, Aramex’s Regional Office. The initiative, which stations customs officers at Aramex warehouses, has reduced shipment processing times by 50 per cent, saving five hours per shipment. By enabling immediate customs clearance on-site, the programme eliminates delays from traditional inspection points, optimising workflows and allowing for faster shipping solutions. “The initiative is a testament to Dubai Customs’ dedication to pioneering comprehensive and efficient customs processes; made possible by visionary leadership and commitment to innovation. Together, we are paving the way for sustainable development and attracting new foreign investments, reinforcing Dubai’s global standing in trade and logistics,” he added.
