The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs has completed the Virtual Corridors Cargo Movement System (VCCMS) in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Mubarak Matar Al Mansouri, Executive Director, Operations Sector, said. This facility can be accessed by applying through the approved digital platforms for customs services.

The VCCMS facilitates the movement of duty-suspended goods between customs ports, or between customs ports and free zones and customs bonded warehouses in the Emirate. This is achieved by establishing virtual corridors using electronic customs seals implemented within the framework of the National System for Tracking Trucks and Shipments in coordination with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security. The first phase of the VCCMS applies to shipments and goods moving from Khalifa Port towards firms established in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi.
