71% air cargo companies have dedicated sustainability strategy

TIACA announced its 5th edition of Annual Air Cargo Sustainability Insights Report, said Steven Polmans, Chair, TIACA. Highlighting the industry’s progress in sustainability, the report stated 71 per cent of companies increased investment with a sustainability strategy, 42 per cent of companies allocating a dedicated budget and 53 per cent establishing sustainability teams. “With increasing regulatory and customer expectations, the air cargo sector must continue to innovate and collaborate to achieve long-term sustainability. The industry must take decisive steps to integrate sustainability into core business strategies,” he added.
