18th edition of Dubai Airshow holds lot of promise for cargo

The 18th edition of Dubai Airshow is set to be the biggest on record, with more than 1,400 exhibitors from 95 countries and visitor numbers expected to grow from last time’s edition. The airshow, which is set to take place from 13-17 November 2023 at Dubai World Central, will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai, and UAE Minister of Defence. Tero Taskila, CEO and Chairman, Beond, said, “Beond is thrilled to have this opportunity to showcase our beautiful, specially fitted aircraft at the upcoming Dubai Airshow. This marks the beginning of our journey as the world’s first premium leisure airline, and we could not be more pleased to be able to celebrate with cargo and passenger industry partners at the airshow.” As per IATA, globally, air traffic now stands at 96 per cent of pre-COVID levels. The airshow will host a comprehensive conference agenda that will welcome 300 international speakers and feature 80 hours of insightful content to drive conversations on the most important industry topics such as sustainability, advanced aerial mobility, cargo, and diversity among others.
