17% tonnage growth for Etihad Cargo in H1 2024

Etihad Cargo has reported its H1 2024 performance & growth results via a press release. The leading cargo airline achieved a solid 17% tonnage growth YoY in H1 2024, pushed by its strategic expansion and reliability in the air cargo sector. It has also experienced a massive growth regionally, with an impressive 19%, 20% and 15% tonnage growth in the East, West and UAE regions respectively.  The carrier’s special product IATA CEIV Pharma-certified PharmaLife showed a robust 9% increase in tonnages YoY. SecureTech, a dedicated product for transportation of consumer electronics, witnessed a 95% growth in overall revenue. The leading cargo airline maintained a high operational reliability and efficiency standards in the global markets with 87.7% delivered as promised rate.
